Ingredients

- 1 box of yellow cake mix

- 1 cup of sour cream

- 3 large eggs

- 1/4 cup of vegetable oil

- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

- 1/2 cup of brown sugar

- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

- 1/2 cup of chopped nuts (optional)

- Confectioners' sugar for dusting (optional)

Procedure

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, sour cream, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and well-combined.

3. In a separate small bowl, prepare the streusel topping by mixing the brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and chopped nuts (if using).

4. Pour half of the cake batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.

5. Sprinkle half of the streusel topping over the batter.

6. Pour the remaining cake batter over the streusel layer, spreading it evenly.

7. Top the cake batter with the remaining streusel mixture, ensuring it covers the surface evenly.

8. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

9. Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.

10. If desired, dust the cooled cake with confectioners' sugar before serving.

Preparation Time: Approximately 15 minutes for preparation, 35-40 minutes for baking, and 10 minutes for cooling.
